Acupuncture has become very popular, particularly for pain relief. However it is much more than that. Skillfull needling of acupuncture points activates a network of fine channels that encompass the entire body to help us regulate our energy and maintain health and vitality.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Frances practices Classical Chinese herbal medicine, and runs the Herb Community Clinic in South Oxfordshire, offering a Jing Fang Apprenticeship in classical herbalism (Jing Fang), as well as low cost Chinese herbal medicine treatments.
Healing is the transmission of energy to boost our own self-healing ability. It directs and enhances the effects of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, but is also a therapy in its own right. Healing energy can be seen as colours or sensed as warmth, cold or tingling.
Seminars & Workshops
From a Jing Fang (Classical herbalism) Apprenticeship, to Pulse Diagnosis seminars for acupuncturists, to practical workshops on Cooking with Chinese Herbs that are open to anyone interested, Frances is passionate about sharing the Chinese medicine approaches to healing she finds so effective.
