Sounding

Sounding

As a musician, Frances has always been involved with sound. She trained initially at York University as a composer, then made a career as a Baroque violinist, before moving into healing. In May 2003 she reconnected with her roots as a composer, and wrote “Song of the Mountains”, inspired by a vision quest in Canada’s Rocky Mountains. Since then, she has been exploring the use of sound in healing, training in Resonance work with Alice Tierney.

SoundingSounding is a very powerful tool to help us to resonate in harmony with ourselves and our environment. When appropriate, Frances uses gentle vocal sounds, and sometimes the bell sounds of Tibetan bowls and chimes as a part of her treatments at the Cholsey Complementary Health Centre in Oxfordshire, and in London N11.
